Agricultural Safety Support

CDM Safety provide practical support beyond paperwork and box-ticking, by getting to know your staff and farm and delivering the support and training you need, where you need it

Work is always done in a certain way for a certain reason in farming, but a fresh pair of eyes or two can provide insight and suggestions as to where changes can be made to work more safely.  We can deliver training and induction, tool box talks and spend time with your staff implementing change and promoting a positive H&S culture

Agricultural Safety: Service

Safety Culture

We have all seen things happen on the farm that we have reflected on afterwards and realised that there was probably a safer and better approach that could have been taken.  Safety culture on farms can be notoriously cavalier- but there is no escaping the fact that even in 2022 Agriculture had the highest number of Work Injuries than any other UK industry.  This can only be due to a problem in the Safety Culture across the farming sector

We Need To Do Better

To protect the lives and livelihoods of farmers, farm workers and everyone coming into contact with the industry

Making safety an integral part of the working day, projects and work planning, show staff and farm management that open and honest discussion and suggestion for better, safer ways of working, are just as important as efficiency and production.  At CDM Safety we like to get our wellies muddy and get involved with staff, working with them to formulate risk assessments and provide induction, training and advice.

If you are interested to talk about Safety please contact us to arrange a visit and take the first step in promoting H&S on your farm
